Performance II Colors

The Performance II COLOR SERIES brings a big, warm tom sound to any drum kit. Versatile and easy to tune, the PFII Color series works well in both live and recording situations. It's great for miking; the special, two-seven-mil ply Aquarian design eliminates annoying high-frequency overtones while maintaining just the right amount of resonance and focus with low/mid frequencies. 

These heads work well for loose tuning and deliver that low, fat, punchy tom-tom sound that was a big part of classic past rock and roll records and fits right in with today's popular driving “tom grooves”. When tuned to mid frequencies, the PFII delivers a musical, “live studio” tom sound. The PFII’s frequency control is built into this head design- no external muffling is needed!
